the people behind

We are a team of photographers, artists and curators who are deeply moved by photography and print. That is why, with frayme, we bring these elements together, to offer you, as a creative mind, inspiration, added value and meaningful input that helps you grow. We focus on cultural context, artist portfolios, long-form features, documentary projects, portrait series, and essays.   • Ünal Günofan

    Founder

    -

    Ünal is the editorial lead at frayme, a business economist and photo designer. He's been creating in his own world since childhood. With frayme, he brings together his love for photography and books and magazines, to inspire individuals and give back to society. His documentary work includes an extensive visual project on Roma settlements in Romania, which helped raise donations for humanitarian causes. He is currently conducting a research project with disabled youth, running photography workshops and exhibitions to explore how photography can make a difference in their lives.

  • Sophie

    Creative Collaborater

    Sophie supports frayme with her creative input, from the design of our issues to exhibitions and social media. With a background in working with renowned brands, she brings a sharp eye for detail and aesthetic to everything she touches. Her sense of style and dedication help shape the visual experience of frayme, ensuring that every issue feels authentic and considered.

  • Serene

    Curator (Photography)

    -
    Serene is a street photographer with a sharp eye for everyday beauty and human connection. Born and raised in Singapore, she discovered photography during the pandemic and went on to earn a diploma from Chatsworth Medi@rt Academy. Her work was recognized at the Crowbar Awards 2022, earning a Bronze and two finalist spots. At frayme, she brings depth and honesty to our visual storytelling, capturing urban life with quiet power.

  • Libby

    Creative & Editorial Contributor

    Libby is a photographer and writer specialising in documentary, politics, and photojournalism. Her practice explores identity, community, and social issues through photography, academic writing, and publication-making. With a background in Visual Communication, photography and journalism, she is interested in the relationship between images, storytelling, and social change. At frayme, Libby contributes to the curation of exhibitions, editorial writing and topic development for our magazine, and provides creative input across all areas of the project.

  • Sammy

    Chief Happiness Officer (CHO)

    Sammy makes sure nobody works too long without a break, demands daily walks and won't let you be sad for more than five seconds. She has mastered the art of napping in the worst possible spot and will stare at you until you share your lunch. Every team needs one member who does absolutely nothing productive and makes everything better anyway.
